According to the Croatian Chamber of Economy Trade Department in the line of the act 88 regulating Real Estate activities from 03.10.2007. the mediating commision for the buy or sale, exchange, lease and rent of estates is:

- buy or sell: the commision is paid as a percentage added on the accumulated amount of the price. It can be from 4 to 6%;

- salement: the mediating commision is paid from the vendor and it is between 2–4 %, but it is never under 4.000,00 kn;

- purchase: the mediating commision is paid from the purchaser in case that there has been made an agreement or that the mediator recived a verbal or written order for the demanded estate. The percentage goes from 2–3 %, and it is at least 4.000,00 kn;

- exchange: during the exchangement of the estate the mediating commision is collected from both sides of the exchange. The percentage is added on the value of the estate that the part has acquired with the exchangement and it is 2–3 %, but not under 6.000,00 kn. VAT is not included in the price.
